In maintaining a show kennel of up to 25 Shar-Pei for the last 25 years, and a boarding kennel for 10 years, and after years of using and testing many different varieties of commercial dog kibble,  we discovered the diets which were remarkably better  for dogs were the kibbles which included "fishmeal"  as a regular ingredient. These gave our Shar-Pei their most beautiful coats  and resulted in an obvious improvement in overall health and vitality.  Unfortunately most sources of fishmeal are contained in baked or process kibble.
